The executive dashboard would be a supplementary tool to Kalibrr's already existing business intelligence reporting tool. The dashboard would show a high-level view of the product's and company's performance with the ability to drill down into detailed views and reporting. Its primary use case is to provide executives and management insights to be able to make key decisions.
This project was my first project in data visualization so I had to learn about it to appropriately convey the insights the data presented. This involved learning a lot about how bar charts are wonderful and how pie charts are terrible. (Sorry, pie chart.)
This project also involved a lot of back-and-forth conversations with both the management stakeholders and the Business Intelligence team so I could identify what insights management wanted and what insights we (design and business intelligence) could derive from the data and how we could properly visualize it.
My developer buddy Matthew was able to enhance the dashboard design by providing a few slick animations (not shown here) into the visualizations. Management liked it.
Below is a mockup of the executive dashboard.
